Privacy Policy

The short version

Silence Remover processes audio on your device. Your audio file and the generated MP3 are not uploaded to our application server. You do not need an account, and we do not ask for payment information.

Audio processing

When you choose a file, your browser reads, decodes, analyzes, and re-encodes the audio locally. A dedicated browser worker performs the processing. Where supported, the temporary output may be written to your browser's private local file system; otherwise it is kept in browser memory. Closing or refreshing the page clears the active session and download link. Your browser or operating system may retain a downloaded file according to your own settings.

Website data

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp, and security signals to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose reliability problems. This information does not include the contents or filename of the audio you process.

Silence Remover may store a language preference in your browser so the site can open in your selected language. We do not currently provide user accounts, advertising profiles, payment processing, or server-side audio history.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. Limited website request data may be handled by infrastructure providers that operate and secure the site, or disclosed when legally required. Retention is limited to the period needed for security, reliability, and legal obligations under the provider's applicable settings.

Your choices

You can clear site data and language preferences through your browser. You can also stop all local processing by closing the page. Because audio is not uploaded to us, we cannot retrieve, view, or delete an audio file from our servers.

Children

Silence Remover is a general-purpose audio utility and is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service in violation of laws that apply to you.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page before or when they take effect.
