Remove silent sections from video

The new Remove Silence from Video tool detects sustained quiet sections in a video's audio track and cuts the matching ranges from both audio and video. You can preview the result and download the result without sending the source file to a server.

More predictable downloads

Audio and video processing now choose an output profile that the browser can actually encode. When the original audio format is supported for output, Silence Remover keeps it; otherwise it uses a compatible fallback and labels the download clearly.

Easier movement between tools

The new tools directory puts the audio and video workflows in one place. Public pages now share the same compact navigation, and a selected media file remains available when the tool interface remounts during normal use.

Silence Remover launched as a free browser-based audio tool. Choose an audio file, detect sustained quiet sections, review the result, and download the trimmed audio from one focused workflow.

Your file stays on your device throughout processing. There is no account requirement and no server upload in the core workflow.

Controls for different recordings

You can adjust silence sensitivity, minimum silence duration, and padding around speech. The waveform and before-and-after duration make it easier to check the result before downloading it.

The launch also included English and Chinese pages, mobile-friendly controls, privacy and terms pages, and clear recovery messages for unsupported or unreadable files.
